If you have trouble uploading your video, make sure you have followed the steps below:
1. You have to save your final outcome as a movie file, not a WMM project file. In Movie Maker, go to file and choose 'save movie' instead of 'save project' and save it in your computer.
2. Depending on the device you used, you may have to convert the file to a different type that can be recognized. For instance, Blogger may not recognize MP4 files. Right click on the saved movie file and choose the convert using Prism option (or, open Prism on desktop and open the movie file).
2-1. If Prism shows you an annoying pop-up message, it means you have to register your Prism credentials. Find the big envelope attached to your computer (hard disk under the desk) and put in the information (passcode, etc.) into the pop-up window. Each computer has its passcode - you should not use other computers' passcode. Then Prism will work.
3. Check where the converted file is saved. You can designate the folder to save the converted file before Prism starts converting. Once your converted file is saved, delete old movie file (not the WMM project) to avoid confusion.
4. Go to Blogger.com, and open a new post. If there is a video file the is endlessly being processed, get rid of it (you can simply go one step back by hitting the arrow icon at the menu bar). Hit the clapper icon and choose the converted movie file from the folder it has been saved. It will be processed for about a minute. Hit 'Save' under your name on the right side and hit 'Publish' then it will be posted.
4-1. If you keep having trouble even after making sure all of the above, you may want to post it on YouTube and select 'From YouTube' or 'My YouTube' option on Blogger.com (the options appear on the left side after hitting the clapper icon in a new post).
5. Sometimes weird things happen (e.g., suddenly you can't hear the audio, the aspect ratio gets weird and everybody in the video has a narrow head, etc.) so play and watch your movie from the beginning until the end and make sure everything including your title and credits is fine. If anything is not good, go back to your WMM project and edit the movie and take the same steps again.
6. Put the same title and the group members' names to the blog post. Make sure your movie title properly summarizes the content in the movie.
7. You are done. Now you are a video producer/editor!
